Q&A: Linus Torvalds

Linux is dynamic, ever-changing, and evolving. It’s hard to predict where Linux will eventually end up in the landscape of operating systems. Recently, Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, shared his views on the state of Linux and Microsoft. In particular he gives his insight on the future growth of Linux and his take on Microsoft’s initiatives to curb the growing popularity of Linux. As for his future, he replies, “Hey, I didn’t expect to do this for over a decade when I started, but I’m very happy doing it, and I feel I do something meaningful. What more can I ask for?”
