CellStik Backs Up Your Cellular Contacts

Michael Santo of RealTechNews writes:

It looks like a normal USB Key, but it’s not. The Spark CellStik was released today and unlike a flash drive, it has two connectors …one for your cellular phone and one for USB.

It can currently be pre-ordered for LG, Samsung (both available 11/9), and Motorola (available 12/16) cellular phones. Once connected to your phone, you push the button labeled “Save to CellStik”, which transfers up to 1,000 contacts to flash memory. Later, the contacts can be transferred to a computer, and edited with Spark’s CellStik Central application. Edited contacts can be transferred back to the old phone, or to some other phone. According to the CellStik specs, it currently only supports USB 1.1.
