Close Firefox tabs with the clickwheel in Linux

Hey, now how is this for a cool Firefox-Linux trick. With just a flick of your wheel, you can close tabs effortlessly.

It’s no secret that in Windows you can close Firefox tabs by simply middle clicking (or pushing your scroller down) on them. However, you cannot do this in Linux.

By default, in Linux, the middle click opens whatever is on the clipboard in the current tab. However, with a simple about:config edit, you can make it function how it does in Windows. Simply type in about:config in your address bar, and search for middlemouse.contentLoadURL, and change it’s value to false. Source: Lifehacker/Joe Anderson
