For security purposes, you may choose to disable Remote Assistance in Windows Server 2003. If you do, you will be unable to send requests for remote assistance. You can turn of Remote Assistance in Windows Server 2003 using the steps listed below.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Double click the System applet.
- From the System Properties dialog box, select the Remote tab.
- Under Remote Assistance, clear the check box beside the Turn on Remote Assistance and allow invitations to be sent from this computer.
- Click OK.
