What Is The Best Computer For A College Student?

I hate it when someone asks me which device is “better” than another, or what would suit them the best. How am I supposed to answer that? It’s impossible for me to know what will best fit their needs, desires, and lifestyle. Such was the case when this particular caller wanted to know if an HP TouchSmart or a MacBook Pro was a better choice for him to take to college.

How can I possibly tell you what will work best for you? How much do you have to spend? What will you need the device for? These are the kinds of things you need to think about.

I still use the HP TouchSmart that I have. It’s functional, but the touch screen is not as responsive as the one on the iPad. This is due to the type of screen and technology used to build the devices. Not all touch screens are made the same, just like all cell phones are different in some ways.
