If you’ve ever been bankrupt, or have bad credit history, this process can become even more complex. And looking for the right mortgage, CD, checking or savings account isn’t any easier.

Google knows your pain. To help make these decisions a little eaiser, Google began testing a mortgage comparison tool in 2009 and has been adding other financial products such as credit cards, CDs, checking, and savings accounts. Now Google offers these tools all in one place with the Google Advisor, a site “designed to help you quickly find relevant financial products from many providers and compare them side-by-side.” It’s important to note that Google Advisor is currently only available in the U.S.
