Staples EasyTech Total Support Keeps Your Computer in the Game

Yes, this is a sponsored post for Staples, but — as always — all opinions are 100% mine.

Does PC maintenance still vex you as an arcane art that requires at least occasional assistance from outside forces (like tech-loving offspring or friendly neighbors)? Having a convenient place in the neighborhood to help with upkeep of your PC (whether new or old) is handy when the system gets used on a personal level, but it’s absolutely essential when you’ve got a small business. Tech-loving offspring and friendly neighbors are certainly nice to have around, but they deserve a break by now, don’t you think?

Staples EasyTech Total Support is a recently introduced service by the office supply superstore that aims to offer this very thing to your community. Want to make sure your hardware is up to snuff for your needs and that it packs the proper software to keep it operating at maximum efficiency? You can buy Staples EasyTech Total Support in increments of one or two years; the service includes:

  • In-Store Diagnostics
  • In-Store Software Installation
  • Virus Removal
  • Internet Security
  • Data Transfer
  • Microsoft Office Setup
  • Premier PC Setup
  • SquareTrade Accident Protection

Is your old system just not hoofing an increasingly heavy workload like it used to when it was brand-new half a decade or so ago? Staples has trade-in options to help you upgrade that tired old nag to something that’ll keep you winning whatever races you have to run for some time still to come!

I wasn’t expecting much when I walked into the Staples store — having been here a few times before, pricing various office items (and subsequently purchasing them, since Staples has typically had better prices for what I’ve needed on the spot). I figured it would be a long on-boarding process, but it was as efficient of an experience as could be expected.

After placing the computer system on the countertop, the store representative asked a few routine questions of me — and, quite honestly, I didn’t necessarily know all the answers (despite this being my PC). Quite all right, I was assured; he could work through it. Indeed, he did. I didn’t have to do much apart from walking into the store and asking for the Staples EasyTech Total Support plan.

I knew it might take about a half hour to wrap up loose ends, and so I took a stroll down every aisle while the assigned clerk completed the task of getting me set up. Despite being someone who does a great amount of shopping online, I do so value seeing products in real life… seeing things that I may not have realized existed in the first place. As luck would have it, I spied a roll of neon green duct tape, which I happened to need for another project in our geekier YouTube channel. After a quick check, it was better to get it here than through an online retailer. Bonus!

Before I knew it, I was good to go — assured that, should anything “bad” happen, I would be able to come back to Staples and get the issue addressed with little fuss. And I believe that’s what’s most valuable, here: the assurance in knowing that I’ll be able to talk to another human being, face-to-face, to get any future problems resolved. This, again, is coming from someone who happens to love doing everything on the Internet!

You never seem to need a service like Staples EasyTech Total Support until it’s too late, so why wait?
