Prevent A Slide Show From Ending With A Black Slide (PowerPoint 2002/2003)

When you view a slide show in PowerPoint, the last slide to appear in the show is a black slide. The black slide appears with the text “End of slide show – click to exit.” This functionality is optional. If you prefer, you can return to PowerPoint immediately after the last slide in your presentation.

To prevent PowerPoint from displaying a black slide at the end of your slide show:

1. Open PowerPoint.
2. From the Tools menu, click Options. The Options dialog box will appear.
3. Select the View tab.
4. Remove the check beside the End with black slide option.
5. Click OK.
