Sometimes you do not need to keep a bookmark forever. You might be working on a small project or just keeping a few handy for research. No mater what your reason is, the Tark Firefox extension will come in handy for these types of projects.

Here is what the developer of the extension has to say about it.

One use of Tark to harvest bookmarks that are of interest now but may not be in a few weeks.

Tark uses icons to function as an egg-timer to show much time is left on a “Tark’d” bookmark. The bookmark-icons that are “Tark’d” will change as weeks elapse (see previews).

After time elapses the bookmark will still be in your bookmarks for whatever you want to do.

If a Tark’d bookmark is UnTark’d any icon associated with that URL from before is restored in the bookmarks menu.

This is a really neat addition to the bookmark interface of Firefox.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. To pick up your copy all you need to do is download it via the Mozilla Add-ons Web site.
