Stubborn amusement is here once again to brighten your day. You might as well give in. Whether you like it or not, it WILL brighten your day. It’s quite stubborn and shall not be silent. It’ll keep hitting you over the head until you’re enjoying the thrills of colored ice cubes.
Today’s gaming interlude is Cubis 2. You play this game by shooting shiny cubes onto a board in an attempt to create chains of similar colors. If you can clear the required number of cubes, you’ll move on to the next level. The fewer cubes you leave behind, the more points you’ll get. Oh, boy! If you can’t clear the required number of cubes, it’s game over. Oh, drat! There are different kinds of cubes to aid or frustrate your efforts, and to make the game more interesting. Cool cubes, fun cubes, strategy cubes, and special cubes all work together to bring you a little puzzling fun.
Cubis 2 looks like a generic Jell-O block party. Another generic shiny gem puzzle to add to the pile. Luckily Cubis is a little bit unique enough for players to enjoy something slightly new. There WAS a Cubis one, after all. Best of all, it’s a pretty game. A lovely game. A dazzling example of fine artwork. And even better best of all, it’s a finished game. No sloppy unfinished levels or half-done graphics. This is a ready for prime time game. What are you waiting for? Go play.
