It has been said that within the next few years, a person will not be able to move anywhere on this planet without having their every move tracked on a camera of some sort. That is pretty frightening in one way; Big Brother watching over us. But some of those cameras most likely will be ones that private companies and individuals have set up to promote and publicize something, like a business or an attraction. To get a preview of what some of those sites could be like, check out our Warped site.
WebCam Central is the largest collection of Web cameras that I have ever seen on the Internet. It is literally out of this world with sites (and if you think I’m kidding, there is one that is linked to the latest space weather forecast)!
The cameras are easy to find. They are arranged by category, such as airports, sports, parks – you get the idea. They are also arranged by location. If there is a particular country you want to see, just click on it. The local time for each country is listed so you’ll have an idea of whether it is day or night there. The United States cameras are further sub-divided into states.
There are sure some interesting places that people have chosen to put a camera. I think just about all of them are covered here, but maybe they aren’t. Warp-o-Meter rating on this site is a 7.5.
