Well it looks like I have one request for some assistance in which I have not proven all that helpful. It stems from an issue with a wide-format printer and a Mac. But rather than bore you with the unneeded details, allow me to get right into the knitting-gritty of the situation…
My girlfriend, a Mac user, is experiencing some issues with a recent move from Photoshop 6 to Photoshop 9. It seems that on the default installation, Photoshop is no longer offering the “Page Setup” option off of the file menu. Instead, it skips this option completely offering the usual File options in its place. Here, take a look at the image found on this page for a clear example of what the earlier version had with regard to Page Setup. So basically, she cannot select different types of paper, choose different printing methods (graphics, photos, plain), and so on. This is why that Page Setup function was so important.
With my girlfriend needing to use these functions for Christmas coming up, it looks like I am going to need to call in some extra help to get this resolved. So please, if you have any thoughts at all, we would be thrilled for any pointers as to why this has been blatently left out of the Photoshop 9 menu for OS X.
