This past weekend we were visiting relatives and I was watching my niece who was using her laptop in her room. She had just returned from a trip to Hawaii and had some 200 pictures she had taken inside of a folder. She was renaming each picture one at a time. Well, I was thinking to myself, this is going to take her a while, like until the New Year.
So I stopped and asked her if I could show her a quick tip. She said sure.
- Open the folder that contains your pictures and select View – Thumbnails
- Then click on Edit – Select all. This tags all the flicks
- Right-click the first picture and Select Rename from the menu
- After you give the first flick a name click the white space outside of the photo.
- Each picture will now be named the same name you selected in sequential order
Now, if you need to name every picture something different, go back to square one and name them one at a time. 🙂
