This headline from a story by Aaron Ricadela over at TechWeb grabbed my immediate attention: “Microsoft Releases Windows Vista Ultimate Extras, Online Add-Ons For The Operating System”
To me it sounded like Windows Vista Ultimate Extras had already been released. As it turns out, the article found here deals with what is being reported from the Consumer Electronic Show being held in Las Vegas.
I’ve previously mentioned Windows Vista Ultimate Extras in an article here, in which I stated I didn’t have a clue what the Extras would be. So in reading the above I immediately checked Windows Vista Ultimate Extras on my system and nothing was available for download. Though I am sure what is being reported may in fact be true, I was just a tad bit disappointed in what the Extras will be.
What did I expect? I guess something more than just a key for BitLocker in case my laptop is stolen. 🙁
So upon some digging and asking around I found that Windows Vista Ultimate Extra went live on January 7, 2007 and there is more information located here.
