The world of social networking has become all about getting connected with current friends and making new friends with complete strangers. As crazy as it is, the amount of friends that a user has on a service such as MySpace has become some sort of a competition, and bragging rights are up for grabs. Yes, friendship on MySpace can be a selfish and greedy game, and you should only play it if you’re prepared for what it will bring. Many Web residents have grown tired of this ongoing push to join social networks and make as many “friends” as possible, and because of this, they’re basically turning their backs on the trends and speaking out against the things and people that they don’t like on Snubster.

When you’re fed up and just want to vent publicly, then Snubster is the place to go. Some of you may view this is a negative service, and it is to some extent, however, that’s not such a bad thing, and you have to take it with a sense of humor. People need to speak out against what they don’t like, and Snubster uses the On Notice and Dead to Me classifications to allow you to distinguish how you feel, which is something that Stephen Colbert has helped to popularize recently. You can even let other people know that they’re on your list. You may be on Friendster, but we’re kicking it over here on Snubster.
