Back in December [here] and again in January, [here] I posted two articles about the $150 Laptop. I received some scathing replies and also a reply from one of the backers of the new laptop. And as I had mentioned, I would be keeping tabs on how Lite Appliances was doing.
So I took another look at the Lite Appliance site to see what if anything had changed. Unfortunately nothing has. The site is basically the same as it was. Nothing is listed about the new laptop and the site still appears to be selling VIOP and some other miscellaneous computer accessories.
I even checked the Press Section which is still the same. Empty. Nothing. Nada.
There are not even any photos posted for the new laptop that I had originally been sent.
I’ll check back in a few months again, but it doesn’t look like a $150 laptop will be appearing any time soon. 🙁
