Two things make today’s Warped site a very important one. Number one is that eBay has changed the way the America buys and sells. Number two is that forewarned is forearmed. So click on and you’ll see what I mean.

The name of the site is Deadbeat eBay Sellers and Bidders. The main strength of eBay is the honesty and reputation of its sellers and buyers. Through a feedback system, users can see just how honest and reputable a prospective buyer is, or the quality of products that someone is selling. But eBay is also a refuge for those looking to make an easy buck. According to this Webmaster, it is a haven for deadbeats, slackers, misers, and con-men. I wouldn’t go that far, but I do agree that there are some folks there who must have a hard time sleeping at night with what they charge for shipping. This site highlights some of those folks so others can be warned about them before they encounter them on the site.

Some of the users who are highlighted include:

  • dm1968: charges excessive shipping fees, has almost 900 negative feedbacks
  • 6778: leaves negative feedback saying that bidders had harassed him and asked him for child pornography
  • chicagocomputerguy: pocketed $680 and didn’t send out a single item
  • ricki8lakeandbricomot: not only a non-paying bidder, but also doesn’t answer emails

The motto of this site should be caveat emptor. But the main message is: Look at the feedback of anyone you are looking at doing business with on eBay. It can be worth spending a little time being forewarned about users.
