While writing the last article, my system scan, using AVG popped up saying that wbload.dll was infected with a Trojan. I immediately took notice and tried to see what the problem might be. The dll is one from Stardock’s Window Blinds, and has been getting complaints from users since yesterday.

Apparently, AVG and a few other antivirus programs get definitions from Kaspersky Labs. Included in the programs that get their definitions there is Zone Alarm, so people who have their all-in-one product have been reporting the same problem.

It is a FALSE POSITIVE. Nothing to worry about. Check with the site of your AV product or with Stardock to keep up on progress on this, and remember it’s the weekend.

Have fun, stay calm, this too will pass.
