Calling today’s featured game educational is, well, at bit of a stretch.
Remember when you forgot to study for a test and the class geek sat right next to you? In The Classroom, you get to explore the art of cheating. Yes, you read correctly: a game that actually rewards you for cheating! The object of the game is to use your ninja-like skills of stealth in order to avoid the teacher’s gaze. And we all know that the gaze is instantly fatal. Not only do you have avoid that gaze, but you have to do it for long enough to copy all the test answers. You know, cheating isn’t as easy as some people think.
In this game you are somewhat lucky in that your teacher, like a prison guard, usually moves in a pattern. And like an escaping prisoner, you need to know when to make your move. Fortunately for you, the geek that you’re getting your answers from is obliging, and the rest of the class is pretty much neutral. Should you get to the fourth level in this game, consider yourself lucky – and getting past the fourth requires genius. We’re told that it’s not impossible, just very, very difficult. In the spirit of the game, we can’t help but wonder if there is a cheat code. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
We like this game because we haven’t seen anything else out there like it. And it goes to prove that sometimes cheating is harder than actually studying… and even more heart-pounding fun!
