Just when you thought it was safe to chat again in the Yahoo! waters, it seems that there is yet another exploit with Yahoo! Messenger to concern yourselves with. Speaking for myself, I cannot help but wonder if this might not be a good reason to start considering Miranda on the Windows desktop. If the user needed both voice and webcam support, it seems that Miranda can provide for this, while the voice support has been reported buggy.

So I ask again. Unless the user is some fourteen-year-old chatting it up with their friends, why in the world would anyone use that bloated messaging application anyway? Hit the comments area; let’s talk about it. Because to be honest, I am having a really difficult time feeling sorry for anyone that understands the risks of using such an app, only to be bitten again and again.
