Whats the deal with many websites having such dark backgrounds. It used to not bother me that much, but sometimes, my eyes get sooo tired straining to view the material on a jet black background. I am one for bright white backgrounds, so after glimpsing at these dark backgrounds found on many web pages, going to a site like Google, to do a search, my eyes are in limbo trying to readjust. Just a slight pet peeve of mine, I guess things could be worst.
