You heard it right folks. Some people are sitting really pretty on their free couches, sofas and eating nice on their new dinning sets. A local furniture store by the name of Jordan’s Furniture promised to give everyone free merchandise who purchased between the dates of March 7 and April 16th, if the Red Sox went all the way. During this period over 30,000 pieces of furniture were sold. In order to handle the load and the financial burden in case th Red Sox did go all the way, the store took out a insurance policy to give them a little cushion.
Its Monday, one day after the World Series, and I know some moms and dads are smiling. What a great early Christmas present. For some reason, I wished I lived in the Boston area, and took Jordan’s Furniture up for their offer this past March and April.
