Verizon has released it’s version of the iPhone. I haven’t seen it in person, but from what I hear it is going to be great. Not only does it feature a full touch screen (similar to the iPhone), but it also flips open to reveal an entire QWERTY keyboard for faster text messages.

The good news is, if you are into text messaging, you do not have to use the QWERTY keyboard, there is an on-screen version of numbers, so you can text like normal (three letters to one number). This is great for fast replies, and if you need to type a novel; the QWERTY keyboard exists.

The Voyager offers internet and vCast for an extra monthly fee. I am seriously debating buying one of these new phones. However, I am going to hold off for a few months and see how others review the phone. Hopefully the price will drop a little. Right now, it is $299, with a 2 year contract. So for people like me, who just renewed their contract, you’ll have to pay more than $300 for the Voyager.
