A sure sign that the Christmas season is upon us is when such intolerance reappears. At Missouri State University, a Christmas tree was taken down:

“…The co-chair of the president’s diversity commission said a Jewish faculty member complained the tree showed “a lack of sensitivity” to those of other religions.”

It’s soon Christmas. Why not let people celebrate in their own way and with their own traditions? Putting up a Christmas tree is not a lack of sensitivity or denigrating any other religion. I dare say that there will be an abundance of decorated trees in Missouri. Why not enjoy the celebration of others and simply let other people alone?

“Merry Christmas!” – there, I am bold. I venture to the edge of political correctness.
