In a previous tip, I showed you how to save a chart that you create in Word as a chart template. The benefit of saving your own custom charts as templates is that you do not have to re-create them when it comes time to re-using them.
Chart templates are stored in the Charts folder. Once you save a template, you can re-use it by following the steps that are described below.
- On the Insert tab, in the Charts group, click any chart type, and then click All Chart Types.
- Click Templates in the first box, and then click the template that you want to use in the second box under My Templates.
