For the second time in less than a week, Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) is stirring controversy with photographs. Previously, Ms Cyrus was seen in photos where she is showing part of her bra. In this most recent controversy, she is shown in a Vanity Fair picture which implies that she is topless:
“Miley Cyrus, the 15-year-old star of “Hannah Montana,” said she is “embarrassed” by a provocative photo spread shot by famed photographer Annie Liebovitz that is appearing in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.”

This is in the June edition of Vanity Fair. Undoubtedly, this will generate publicity and sell magazines. However, if pictures such as this were found on a laptop passing through airport security, would this not raise suspicions?
Ms Cyrus is fifteen. To market her in this manner makes one wonder ‘what her publicity people were thinking?’. It is really questionable how this is in Ms Cyrus’ best interests.
