Hello all,
This will be my first serious Blog, so the first order of business is to let everybody know who I am and my previous experience in the technical industry.
Part 1: Who I am,
I will refer to myself as Kineo from here on out, the reason I have chosen the Greek word Kineo is it defines who I am. The word Kineo means: to move, set in motion. Plainly put someone who is always in motion, that me. I live in Southern Idaho, in a small town of Nampa; I have been here for the past 12 years. I am married to an incredible woman and have three beautiful children, the two older ones are girls and the youngest is my boy. My favorite hobbies besides my family are:
Computers
Photography
Classic cars
You will probably see a lot of articles associated with two of these topics. I hope they will be interesting and full of useful information. So I ask myself why blog? Good question, I think we are all looking for a place in this world. A blog is a good place to start. I read articles and think to myself, I could have written that better or I would have look at a different angle or different spin on the topic. I find some articles out there that are bias towards a specific product line or manufacturer which really skews the information provided, well I’d better step down from the soapbox.
Part 2: Previous experience,
I have been in a computer related field now for 8 years and still going. I am a senior tech in a performance lab, doing all sorts of troubleshooting and system building is what I do best. Overclocking is one of my other skills, not a claim to fame but it is fun seeing how far you can push the hardware. I don’t claim to know everything so constructive criticism is always welcome. I am here to learn and also pass on what tips and tricks I can to help others. I have built more systems then I care to recall, mostly for work but also for friends and family.
