I am at school every now and then and I find that there are always kids in the computer lab complaining about the fact that they just lost their essay because the computer running Windows became unresponsive. This is when I pipe in and say that there is a solution it is called Apple. Then they reply with something like What is Apple they Suck. This is because they just remember the low-end 10.3 macs we used to have at our school. This was back when Apple did suck. I say now they have approved. They then kind of say ok and then end the conversation.
I think that before Apple is going to take over the Industry they will have to get their popularity up. The average user goes to Best Buy or Wall Mart to buy their computer. When they get here they buy a 5-6 hundred dollar laptop. This will have Vista and will crash every other day. There is a solution it is called Apple. I don’t know how to let people know. It just make me mad seeing all these people griping and not even knowing about Mac. While it is great for Apple to continue to make a high-end product they need to make a low end one also. What Apple needs to do is to make a lower-end laptop for about $500-$600. If they did this then maybe more people would look into buying one. With the current prices they will be only receiving money from computer elitists like myself. If Apple ever hopes to become what Microsoft has and become the monopoly they need to do this. I think they have the potential to do so especially with were Microsoft is going. Lets See what will happen. With the retirement of Bill Gates and the Future of Apple I think this Generation will get to see one of the biggest benchmarks ever in technology.
