Putting its own beliefs ahead of its customers’, the DMC Pharmacy, scheduled to open in Chantilly, VA., is among a growing number of “pro-life” pharmacies that will not sell any form of contraception. According to the Washington Post, the pharmacy, an expansion of Divine Mercy Care, asserts a “right of conscience,” which means it won’t provide any services or products that it finds objectionable.

Wow, that’s a doozy.  As a part-time libertarian, I have to remain true to my beliefs that a business should be allowed to sell what it wants.  As a person, this irks me.   I suppose I would resolve this by voting with my feet: I’d shop elsewhere.

There are also hospitals that won’t do abortions.

What do you think about that?
