Google is well known for its minimalist, plain home page. Now there is a change. There is a link to the Google privacy policy. There has been pressure on Google to adhere to the convention of making a privacy policy link available on its main page. Up to this point, Google had resisted. The timing seems ironic. Just when a New York court ruling has Google violating the privacy of its YouTube site visitors, it places a privacy policy on its home page. Coincidence?
