When Charles Barkley was at the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, he was recognized for his generosity:
“…Barkley will receive a certificate of appreciation in recognition for his efforts on behalf of Angora fire victims. He hosted a dinner for the fire departments last year and also donated $100,000 to the Angora Fire Fund, benefiting victims of last summer’s wildfire.”
