Recently I finished playing No More Heroes it’s a Wii game from the makers of killer7 a Gamecube game. This game is a Mature rated game which is really weird since it’s on the Wii but it’s good to see that there’s still developers that make all kinds of games for all kinds of people that own a Wii. Now this game is about a guy named Travis Touchdown, yeah I know weird name, a guy that’s a Otaku (which means he’s a fan of anime) and a fan of Lucha Libre (Wrestling) that lives in a town called Santa Destroy. After winning a Beam Katana in a auction he decides to be the best assassin there is and he starts to do so after meeting this one girl named Silvia Christel who helps him get to number one. Now this game uses a Beam Katana which at first made me think hey it might be like Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess where you can swing around the sword and attack as you use the Wiimote but nope. This game you use the Wiimote by either having it up and down and pressing the A button to attack which is kinda weird but you get use to it. Now you do use the Wiimote for other things like when doing wrestling attacks or when using finishing move. This game is really weird most of the time, gameplay wise and the characters in the game too. The game can get a little weird like when driving your motorcycle you can get bumped out of your bike when you barely hit something or how even when your using boost you have to stop for the car or else they will just block your way. Also the names of Travis’ power up moves are named after food but it’s kinda funny and some are cool to use. This game can get very bloody and also this game has a lot of funny moments but mostly the main part of the game is that you have to  get a job then pay the people to get into a rank match so you can become number 1 and you have to do that when you want to do a rank up mission. First a job which is like a normal job and then a assassination job then the rank match. This game is in Cell-shaded graphics so it kinda looks animated. This is a ok game I liked it cause it made a bunch of anime references and lucha libre references which are normally for anime in japanese and lucha libre in Spanish so that was cool since I know both languages. So this game would be good for anyone that’s a fan of anime or anyone that played the killer7 game before but if your still not sure I would rent it first to see if you liked it or not.
