Finished up playing Mega Man 9 yesterday and now it’s time for the review. Now I played Mega Man 9 on the Wii since it was released first on Monday of last week but it’s also available on PS3 since last week Thursday and on Xbox Live Arcade since Yesterday. Now a lot of people will automatically notice that this game is in 8-bit graphics instead of the graphics we know today that’s because Capcom wanted to make a game that doesn’t focus on the graphics but rather more on the gameplay and to let fans of the original series from the NES days enjoy another game in 8-bit greatness. Now another reason for picking the Wii version is because of the controls, the Wiimote is closer to the NES controller so it just felt like the best controller to play this game with. Now fans of the Original Mega Man series will know that games in the series are usually hard and this one is just as hard maybe even harder. For people that haven’t played the series are gonna have a lot of trouble getting threw most of the levels the first time around because just like the other games in the series there will be some obstacles that you will have to know so you can get through the level. Now there are some great music in this game and it doesn’t matter if it’s in 8-bit form some are pretty catchy. Now to keep you playing this game Capcom is going to have some downloadable content for this game that will come out later for all three systems like one of them is being able to play as Proto Man instead of Mega Man. Now this is a great game for fans of the classic series, good price $10 and also will bring back memories for anyone that played it back in the NES days now for people new to the series I would recommend you playing the other games in the Original Series first before going and picking up Mega Man 9 the whole series you can pick up in a game called Mega Man Anniversary Collection it has Mega Man 1-8 you can get it for the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox it might be hard to find but you can always find it online or maybe at a used game stores so get that so you can experience the series then go on to play the Mega Man 9 but if you want to play the new game first go ahead only a warning that it will be hard. Great game, worth picking up and Capcom also had a cover made for it just like how Mega Man 1 and Mega Man 2 had when they first came out here in the US you can check out the cover here.
