Many places on the ‘net are reporting the sudden DOA status of the original 30GB early this morning. Happy almost new year!
It seems that by deduction several places have put the problem on some mishandling of the date, and this being a leap year. There is also a fix, but no doubt the opening of the Zune case voids any warranty, so it would be advisable for those wishing to avail themselves of warranty performance to wait for Microsoft’s solution. It may be that slow but sure wins the race again.
