As I have stated previously, the DiggBar is seeing mixed reviews, most of which appear to be highly negative. While it certainly is nothing that mounts to privacy or malware concerns, the DiggBar is by and large, outlandishly foolish.
The biggest problem is many website owners are already coming up with ways of preventing it from interfereing with their own traffic flow. Because let’s face it, having something changing the url in your address bar to differ from what is actually going on, is just plain wrong.
What we are seeing happen now, is a rally of users and webmasters alike, coming together to promote common reasons against using the DiggBar. Whether or not this is going to continue to gain traction, remains to be seen I suspect.
