If you frequently use Notes within Outlook, you may be interested in a few tips that you can use to customize them. You can easily change the default color, font and size of all notes. Simply click Options from the Tools menu and then click Note Options. From the window that appears, change the options that you want and click OK.

Another option you have for customizing notes is to categorize them by assigning color categories. If you have a large number of notes, this can be a great way of organizing them. You can add a note to a category by clicking the note icon in the top left corner of a note, pointing to Categorize, and clicking a color category. Once you categorize your notes, you can view them by category. From the View menu, point to Current View, and select By Category.
