One of the ways that you can increase security on your computer is to password protect your screen saver. Once the screen saver kicks in on your computer, you must type in your password to return to the desktop. You can configure this security feature through the Display properties dialog box.

  1. Right click on the Desktop and click Personalize.
  2. Click the Screen Saver option.
  3. Click the On resume, display logon screen option.
  4. Click OK.
