There is really no question at all that owning an iPhone or other similar smart phone is where all of the kids are headed these days with their wish lists. If only there was some way to get the schools to convince mom and dad that it is a must own device to further their education? As it turns out, the Missouri University School of Journalism is actually putting the iPhone into such a category.
Upon further investigation by the article linked above, it turns out that the mandate for students bringing in iPhones is actually option. As a matter of fact, it is merely being encouraged for students to purchase the iPhone as a supplement to what they might otherwise use a laptop for.
So does this mean that federally subsidized loans are being used to buy iPhones for these students? Sure sounds this way to me. Not to fear though, as stated above, the entire iPhone purchase is merely a suggestion. Or so they say.
