Google has previewed a new service known as the Google Wave. The service will provide equal parts of both document and conversation in which people will be able to communicate and work as a team. Included will be the ability to collaborate on using text, maps, videos and a lot more. What is even better is that these services will be completely free.

So where did this idea original generate? Well by the people who started a company named Where 2 Tech that Google bought back in 2004. The small startup was helpful in developing what became known as Google Maps.

But we will have a wait a little while to get it. It will not be available until later this year.

What do you think? Will this be a tool you will use?
