There should be an image here!In what I like to call “it’s about time” news, it is reported that the new iPhone 3G S will be providing one important benefit for those customers with a more oily skin complexion. Simply put, the new iPhone will be more resistant to oily skin or smudge-likely fingers putting greasy little finger prints all over the screen.

At first, this did not sound all that important, but even if you are using Bluetooth exclusively, chances are still pretty solid that you are getting some serious fingerprints on your iPhone 3G classic  simply by playing games and using apps.

Speaking for myself, I opt to rely on a transparent, shock resistant plastic case that has already saved my phone from finger prints as well as being dropped on the concrete no less that four times now. In each instance of “droppage”, I was in need of a new case. But my iPhone was generally unscathed and in good working order. As for the finger prints, well, it’s a see through case. So obviously, this is not a problem needing to be rectified by an upgrade to the iPhone 3G S at this time.
