Evernote, the widely used note taking service, has really become extremely popular in the last little while due to its tech media attention. It’s expanded its service substantially from when it first premiered its site a couple of years ago. It’s slowly integrated its Evernote application into the iPhone, Windows Mobile devices, and SanDisk.
Yesterday Evernote added the newest mobile device to that list, the Palm Pre:
Evernote for Palm Pre lets you capture your experiences and inspirations instantly as they occur, and then find them whenever you want. It allows you to create text and snapshot notes on the go, edit existing text notes, and search through all of your memories, even those created on your desktop or the web. Evernote for Palm Pre also lets you open and view multiple notes at once, launching a new “card” for each.
Presently, there are still a few bugs within the Evernote application, however, that is to be expected on such a new device. I’m quite surprised at how fast application developers are trying to make a dent on Palm’s last ditch effort considering it’s just been released. Maybe it’s simply because of the thought that the Palm Pre may potentially become one of the most prominent competitors since the first iPhone was released a few years ago.
