Tim Cook is doing really good things for Apple. Of this, there can be no question. New products are released on time (generally) and in good working order (generally speaking). The company is staying fairly healthy and to date, keeping most of the competition at bay.
So it is at this point we must ask ourselves why the Apple board has not given the man responsible for this a seat earlier? Tim Cook may not be the next Steve Jobs, but he does appear to be one seriously effective individual.
Clearly putting Cook on Apple board only works to serve the company. With any luck, we’ll see this happen sooner rather than later. Because at the end of the day, the company will out live the man who founded it. Apple needs good leadership.
