Look, the fact of the matter is fake pharmacies have been plaguing the ‘Net for as long as I can remember. And with pay per click taking off in recent years, search engines have largely done NOTHING to stop this problem. While many search engines ban the ability to place ads for firearms in their PPC ads, they appears to welcome pharmacy ads with little checking.
As you can see in the above link, Bing is among some of the first to start taking an active roll in filtering out some of the junk “pharmacies” out there selling their goods with zero regard for the law. So while I think it is great that Bing is able to filter out some stuff, I think we need to take this one step further.
The fact of the matter is that if search engines are unwilling to take money from companies looking to sell firearms, I think that the same rules need to apply to other things that when used dangerously, can inflict damage.
