There should be an image here!You say KDE, I say GNOME and that other guy is going off about Enlightenment. All Linux users have that one desktop environment that best meets their needs. And so does OpenSuSE. Apparently OpenSuSE is now defaulting to KDE.

While fully support their decision, I sincerely hope that the horrors of KDE 4 will not be repeated as it overshadowed anything GNOME has ever done to their users.

Speaking off the cuff here, I think that the biggest reason here for OpenSuSE to do this is to make sure that they can brand themselves in a different light than other popular distros such as Ubuntu. Sure, there is the KDE version of just about any distro, but making KDE OpenSuSE’s first stop does do something for its brand I think.
