Android phones are about to appear everywhere, not just with T-Mobile here in the States. And among those participating in the effort, is Dell. What is surprising, is that AT&T is working with Dell to make this happen.
I say this is surprising as AT&T is so in bed with Apple’s iPhone, I was a bit taken back to see them interested in also pursuing the Android platform as well. I suppose at some level it comes down to making sure AT&T remains in the game no matter what.
So does this AT&T / Dell deal mean bad things for the iPhone? Not likely, as I have found that they tend to attract different markets. I believe most people will be drawn to the iPhone first, due to iTunes.
