I’m not a fan of image editing, so whenever I have to do something involving images, I want it to be quick and easy. In the past, I used to have to track down software that would let me do what I needed to do depending on the project because I didn’t have Photoshop or anything like it. These days, advancements in Web technology mean that I can perform simple tasks directly in my Web browser, and if what I need to do is more complicated than that, I have someone who knows what they’re doing do it. For my basic needs, Cut My Pic should do the trick.
With this service, you can upload images and crop the part that you want for a new image, but there’s more to it than just that. You can also rotate the image, round the corners to varying degrees, and add a drop shadow that you specify. When the preview looks good, you’re able to share the completed image through e-mail or save it directly to your computer. This is the type of image editing that I can get behind.
