There should be an image here!Well who would have though this would ever come to a close! Seems that after a lot of going back in forth with the courts, Psystar will indeed be paying Apple a sizable sum of money despite their best efforts previously to sit this battle out.

At its core, the entire incident sounds a lot like a plea bargain, had this been taking place in a criminal court. But from a civil perspective, my take is that this is merely a settlement that will help to keep Psystar from being sued any further.

Then I read about the fact that Psystar has learned nothing from this. They are still poking at Apple with their Rebel EFI  product that apparently is designed to allow its users to install OS X on unauthorized hardware. Truth be told, there is more money in software and I believe that Psystar is well aware of it.
