Just in time for Christmas, Microsoft has given its Windows 7 community another 4 themes to brighten up the desktop.
Say what you will, but this is a really nice thing after the mess that was extra themes for Windows XP. Back then, Microsoft would release them under the dark of night, and many times, by the time the information was disseminated, the theme was either moved or mysteriously dropped. Not to mention the fact that there was no place that was a repository for all things decorative for XP. Searching the Microsoft site was a job only for the very ingenious or committed, because apparently Microsoft thought it best to not let the customer in on what was available to them.
In many ways that is still the method, but things are getting better. There is a place where the user can go and know customization touches will be there. It is called the Personalization Gallery, and can be found here. The four new themes are at the top of the list and consist of a dog, cat, summit, and another Christmas theme.
Rejoice, and be of good cheer!

…but now he’ll have health care, and so problems from those things won’t be so difficult to take care of!
