It what can only be called a surprise move, Steve Wozniak has confessed he now uses the Google Nexus One phone. The co-founder of Apple has dumped his Apple iPhone and has gone over to Google. But before you get too excited about the news he did not completely dump his Apple iPhone but has stated that the Google Nexus One is his favorite gadget.
One would believe that even his confession of using a product from Google would be revealing as to what gadget he may prefer. In a recent news article also states the following information:
Wozniak made his latest revelation with a coy laugh and without actually speaking the Google device’s name. Instead, when asked what his favorite gadget is, Wozniak said, “Well, it’s the latest one. It’s a non-Apple product, but it’s a gadget that just came out yesterday.”
There was no mistaking which gadget the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant was referring to — when he said it, the Nexus One was just one day old.
Wozniak does have a connection to the phone’s Android operating system. He was on the board of Danger Inc., which was founded by Andy Rubin, who now runs Google’s mobile efforts.
Still, the image of Woz caressing Google’s new superphone must disturb the dreams of Apple fanboys and fangirls everywhere.
I would’ve liked to of been a fly on the wall at Apple headquarters when this news was released. I could only guess what the reaction must of been by those who developed the Apple iPhone. This would be like Microsoft admitting that they use Apple computers in Redmond. Oops! I have heard they actually do. LOL
