In 4 hours, I will sit across from the mysteriously socially-savvy, yet anti-social media ad guru, Jerry Ketel. Jerry Ketel got his start in the Portland advertising community in the drug-fueled ’80s, before joining Leopold & Partners in the indie-rock mid-’90s. In roughly a year’s time, Jerry Ketel made partner (no doubt via bribery or extortion) and only recently decided to exit the company specifically NOT to pursue a career in social media or search engine marketing, where the money is good and the work is relatively easy.

To this day, Jerry Ketel can be seen on panels fruitlessly and cluelessly defending his anti-social media stance on business.
